Yeah, this one came out of left feild and I know a lot of people are gonna critize Obama over it, but hey, those same people would still not like him if he hadn't won it. Although I question him getting it a little, deep down I'm glad that he got it.

As much as I admire Obama, I would have preferred if he won the Nobel prize based on things he's done rather than things he's going to do. That's what I thought Nobel prizes were all about, but I guess I was wrong.

Here's hoping his plans actually work, then!

I agree with Tamayouchi... I, like others, have been waiting for the President to do more of what he promised, like work harder to get more money to fund anti-trafficking groups... all he's seem to have done is yell at those who are fighting smuggling, which is totally different (smuggling is bringing someone into the county if they are illegal, but they want to come. Trafficking is slavery and doesn't always even involve the border patrol as many victims are trafficked within their own country). I'm biased, though. I work very strongly with anti-trafficking movements.
